Our Story
Who We Are
Easley Bible Methodist Church is a warm, Christ-centered congregation nestled in the heart of Easley, South Carolina. We are part of the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches, holding firmly to the historic Wesleyan-Arminian tradition of faith.
There are many voices in the world clamoring for your attention and affection. In a chaotic world, with many opinions and beliefs, we exist to connect you with your Creator, God. We want to help you learn to know your Creator—not just to know about Him, but to know Him personally and relationally.
Whether you've been walking with the Lord for decades or are just beginning to explore the Christian faith, you'll find a welcoming community here—a place to learn, grow, and belong.

What We Believe
The Trinity of God
We believe in the one triune God, self-existent and everlasting, both holy and loving in nature. God exists in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—each eternal in being, equal in power and glory, and identical in essence.

Jesus Christ
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to reconcile all mankind to God, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven where He intercedes for us. He will return to judge all humanity.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, is truly and eternally God. He convicts of sin, regenerates all who repent and trust in Christ, sanctifies and indwells believers, and guides into all truth—empowering the believer for godly living and service.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and inerrant in the original writings. They contain all that is necessary for our salvation and are the supreme authority for faith and practice.

Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and freely received through faith, not by our own works. God graciously justifies and regenerates all who repent of their sins and believe on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Entire Sanctification
We believe that entire sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit by which believers are cleansed from inherited depravity and empowered for more effective service. It is both preceded and followed by growth in grace, expressed in advancing Christlikeness.

In a chaotic world with many opinions and beliefs, we exist to connect you with your Creator, God. We want to help you learn to know Him—not just to know about Him, but to know Him personally and relationally.
A Place to Grow
As you learn about God and how to relate to Him, we desire to help you grow in your faith. God intends for you to grow in your spiritual walk with Christ. As you study His word and interact in His kingdom, you can use your gifts for His glory.
A Place to Belong
Everyone wants to belong to something bigger than themselves. We exist as a place that gives purpose and belonging in the Kingdom of God. We want you to feel at home at EBMC—because it's a place to belong.
